Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process that allows users to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials. Instead of logging into each app separately, SSO enables seamless authentication across different platforms, improving security and user experience.

1️⃣ User attempts to log in to an application (e.g., Facebook) using SSO credentials (e.g., Google).

2️⃣ The application redirects the user to the SSO provider’s login page (e.g., Google).

3️⃣ The user enters login credentials (username & password) on the SSO provider’s page.

4️⃣ The SSO provider authenticates the credentials and issues an authentication token.

5️⃣ The authentication token is sent back to the application (e.g., Facebook).

6️⃣ The application validates the token with the authentication server.

7️⃣ Once validated, the user is granted access without needing to re-enter credentials.

✅ Convenience – One login for multiple services
✅ Security – Reduces password fatigue & phishing risks
✅ Productivity – Less time spent logging in
✅ IT Efficiency – Fewer password reset requests

πŸ”΄ Without SSO – Users need separate login credentials for each app.
🟒 With SSO – One login grants access to all connected applications.

Would you implement SSO in your organization? Let’s discuss! πŸš€
